Find the Answers in Our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why is the job requisition number I entered into your online application system not available?
If you are searching for a specific opportunity and the system returns "0 Matches," the job may no longer be available. However, you may be able to find a similar position by using the “Refine Your Search” link. To learn how to successfully use keywords in your search and find a job that fits your background, see Question 2 below. We frequently add new opportunities and encourage you to check back to our careers site often.
How do I use a keyword search to find open positions that meet my qualifications?

To find the best job matches, use these steps to complete the "Keyword Search" field:

  • From the main careers page, click on “Search Jobs” to get to the job search results page.
  • The next screen will allow you to narrow your search criteria, using the "Keyword Search."
  • You can search for jobs by a single word or phrase. Keyword searches effectively search for the exact word — plus logical extensions of that word. Therefore, a keyword search for "engineer" also finds "engineering," "engineered" and "engineers." Keyword searches will find jobs that contain matching words or phrases in any searchable job field, including job title and job description.
  • Click on the "Tips" next to the keyword search box to learn more.
Can I apply for more than one position that interests me?
Yes. You can apply for multiple positions, as long as you meet the basic qualifications.
How do I know if the resume I submitted has been received?
You will receive an acknowledgement email with a candidate confirmation number. Please save this for future reference.
Can I have positions automatically emailed to me based on job search criteria that I have saved?
Yes. First you must create a job search account and login to the CareerZone website. Click on "Search Agent Manager" to create, edit and run your saved searches. Saved searches can be configured to have opportunities that match your search criteria emailed to you on a regular basis.
If I update my resume in my CareerZone profile, does it automatically update my resume for the positions to which I have already applied?
No. Your resume cannot be updated after you have applied for a position. You can save multiple versions of your resume within your CareerZone profile. However, please be sure to use the most appropriate and up-to-date version before submitting it.
