  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding the annual sales target through the maximization of business opportunities at the specified accounts in the given Industry
  • Lead and co-ordinate the efforts of Rockwell Automation resources in order to provide Rockwell Automation solutions, products and services to the customers

Job Summary

To promote the sales of Rockwell Automation Power Control Business solutions, products and services to prospective and existing customers within a designated region.

Establishing solid and long term business relationships with customers and create profitable business growth for Power Control Business, including the pull-through of all other businesses as for example Project business, Services, Components, etc.

Responsible for overall account coordination, including account plan and target setting.

Responsible for overall technical and commercial pre-sales activities for the Power Control Business within a designation region which would include but not be limited to profitable sales growth and market awareness within the focus industry groups.

Effectively co-ordinate the implementation of Rockwell Automation regional and South-EMEA sales strategies and initiatives.

• Acts as the commercial and technical lead to support the sales organisation.

• Proposes technical solutions for complex product applications and provide prove of concept and quotations.

• Lead the preparation and presentation of all Power Control Business proposals.

• Assists in product launches and promotions.

• Responsible for successfully planning, controlling and managing business deliverables to ensure that customer needs are met.

• Manage the efforts of team members and third party vendors.

• Manage the integration and/or development and delivery of deliverables directly to the customer, or in support of a major enterprise-wide projects.

The role will also include extensive travel within the designated region to ensure continuous market development and sustainability.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional (Sales)

• Achieve and exceed the assigned AOP.

• Analyse and monitor sales results providing direction to themselves and the sales force where needed.

• Develop strategic accounts and be individually responsible of the sales.

• Collaborate potentially with channel management to increase market penetration, assure sales coverage and provide appropriated customer orders fulfilment

• Responsible for achieving and exceeding the annual sales target through the maximization of business opportunities at the specified accounts.

• Responsible for developing and implementing effective account plans for all accounts assigned

• Lead and co-ordinate the efforts of RA resources in order to provide Rockwell Automation Power Control Solutions to the customers

• Co-ordination and In-Country sales initiatives and activities

• Responsible of executing, directly or in collaboration with other resources the Rockwell Automation EMEA South Region sales process necessary to obtain the orders (i.e. Identify sales and business opportunities, present quotes and proposals, negotiate and close the orders).

• Responsible for the preparation and presentation of quotes, sales proposals, and contracts to the customer in compliance with Company Policies and Standards, obtaining the appropriated approvals.

• Handles objections effectively and manages a pipeline of opportunities, negotiates profitable deals.

• Consult with other functions on issues like pricing, product specification, warranties and product adaptation to ensure that we provide the appropriated business and technical solution to the customer need.

• Collaborate with all sales teams to increase market penetration, assure sales coverage and provide appropriated order fulfilment

• Develop, use and share success of concepts and ideas to present Rockwell Automation’s capabilities.
