The primary focus of this position will be regulatory activities critical to the compliance of Rockwell Automation products with EU Directives and Regulations. The core function will be to represent Rockwell Automation’s strategic interests in the identified areas, working closely with internal stakeholders in the affected product groups and business units. The Project Manager is responsible for:

  2. Identifies key stakeholders within Rockwell Automation to determine the importance and impact of the different regulations and standards on Rockwell Automation’s products and business.
  3. In conjunction with the key stakeholders, establishes key technical initiatives to support future business direction. Works together with the key stakeholders to define the company’s position within the appropriate initiatives, external industry associations or consortia.
  4. Coordinates activities with others who work in regulations and standards, ensuring sufficient coverage and preventing overlap.

Summary/Scope of Position:
Responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing daily and weekly operations of the work cells to meet goals and production requirements.

Essential Functions:
Functional:
  • Balances workload and assigns work to work cell members on a day-to-day basis to support work cell and departmental objectives.
  • Assists in completing tasks to meet deadline and commitments.
  • Balances and assigns work cell priorities to best achieve customer satisfaction and business objectives.
  • Schedules and provides on-the-job training for work cell members.
  • Leads and participates in process improvement initiatives as required for work cell.
  • Expedites materials and parts through the Planner for the Department. Manages reprioritization of workload and schedule.
  • Manages department metrics, SIP charts and RAILS.
  • Operates material handling equipment as applicable.
  • Assembly process expert.
  • Process auditing as applicable.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of SAP.
Leadership
  • Supports employees in achieving goals in safety, quality and customer service
  • Provides data for measure of work cell and cell members in attaining cell goals

  • Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.

  • Make set ups and adjustments as needed while following manufacturing procedures
